This accelerates the initial discovery phase and provides a structured starting point for validation. ## When to use Invoke this skill when you are beginning a new product or feature development, are struggling to articulate clear hypotheses for user needs and market demand, or need to quickly generate multiple perspectives on how your solution might achieve product-market fit. It's particularly useful after initial user research and before committing to detailed design and development. ## How it works 1. **Input Core Information:** Provide Claude with the core problem you're trying to solve, a detailed description of your target user segment, and a brief overview of your proposed solution. 2. **Specify Hypothesis Focus:** Optionally, you can guide Claude to focus on specific aspects of product-market fit (e.g., "focus on user adoption," "focus on value proposition," "focus on pricing models"). 3. **Generate Hypotheses:** Claude will synthesize the provided information and generate 3-5 distinct, testable hypotheses, each framed as an "If [we do this], then [this outcome will occur] for [this user group], as measured by [this metric]" statement. 4. **Refine and Expand:** You can then ask Claude to refine certain hypotheses, generate alternative hypotheses, or elaborate on potential testing methodologies for each. ## Example usage **User Input:** "I'm building a new mobile app for remote workers that helps them manage their daily focus and deep work sessions.
